Duterte signs laws declaring holidays in various provinces

President Rodrigo Duterte has signed 17 laws declaring special non-working holidays in various parts of the country in commemoration of some events.

The laws, which were signed by the President on October 30 and November 8, are as follows:

• Republic Act 11113 - Special non-working holiday in Ligao City, Albay on March 24 of every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary
• RA 11114 -Special non-working holiday in Agoo, La Union on December 8 of every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary
• RA 11115 - Special non-working holiday in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental on June 16 of every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary
• RA 11116 - Special non-working holiday in Los Baños, Laguna on September 17 of every in commemoration of its founding anniversary
• RA 11117 - Special non-working holiday in Lanao del Norte province on July 4 of every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary
• RA 11118 - Special non-working holiday in Guimaras on May 22 of every year in commemoration of its anniversary as a province
• RA 11119 - Special non-working holiday in Albay, including its cities, on April 3 of every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary
• RA 11120 - Special non-working holiday in Ifugao on September 2 of every year in commemoration of the surrender of General Tomoyuki Yamashita, commander of the Japanese Imperial Army in the Philippines, in Kiangan, Ifugao
• RA 11121 - Special non-working holiday in  Misamis Occidental on November 2 of every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary
• RA 11122 - Special non-working holiday in Cebu City and the entire Cebu province,   including its highly urbanized and component cities, on September 21 of every year in celebration of “Cebu Press Freedom Day”
• RA 11123 - Special non-working holiday in Occidental Mindoro on November 15 of every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary
• RA 11124 - Special non-working holiday in Cavite City, Cavite on September 7 of every  in commemoration of its founding anniversary
• RA 11125 - Special non-working holiday in Agusan del Sur on June 17 of every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary
• RA 11126 - Special non-working holiday in Sultan Kudarat on November 22 of every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary
• RA 11128 - Special non-working holiday Cadiz City, Negros Occidental on July 4 of every year in commemoration of its charter day anniversary
• RA 11129 - Special non-working holiday in El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental on June 27 of every year in commemoration of its charter day anniversary
• RA 11130 - Special non-working holiday in Padre Garcia, Batangas on December 1 of every year in commemoration of its founding anniversary and the annual “Kabakahan Festival”
