It will be a showdown of the best choirs in the metropolis when the 2016 MBC National Choral Competition is held from Dec. 6 to 10 at the Aliw Theater under the auspices of Manila Broadcasting Company and Star City. Taking part in the children’s division are the Calasiao Children’s Chorus, Himig Cauayeño, Dreamweavers Children’s Choir, Araullo High School, Musica Paulinos, Casa del Niño Choral Ensemble, Junior St. Paul College Pasig Chorale, Tuguegarao West Central School, Pasig Catholic College, Batanes National Science High School, Pavia National High School, Ilocos Norte National High School, Voices of the South, Angelicus Children’s Choir, and defending champion Boscorale.

Philippine Veterans Bank (PVB) recently renewed its contract with Heart Evangelista-Escudero as its brand ambassador, with the continuation of its advertising campaign, the “Bank With A Heart For Every Filipino” until 2017.
Launched last February, the ad campaign aims to revitalize the bank’s image. The ad also highlights what makes PVB unique among the country’s universal and commercial banks. The PVB ad campaign features Heart in print, radio, TV, and digital ads. Philippine Veterans Bank is a private commercial bank owned by about 300,000 Filipino World War II veterans and their descendants.
