GMA’s newest primetime series “Meant To Be” has captured the hearts of viewers as it is now a top-rating show on its time slot.
Based on overnight household ratings data from Nielsen, the show posted 16.8 percent in National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM), beating its nearest competitor, which only managed 9.5 percent.
The soap also dominated social networking sites including Twitter, where the program’s official hashtag #MeantToBe became a nationwide trending topic.

The director’s cut of the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival hit “Seklusyon” was released over the weekend in several cinemas.
Rated R-16 by the MTRCB, the cut drew rave reviews from various Hollywood publications, like The Hollywood Reporter and Variety after its world premiere at the International Film Festival & Awards Macao (IFFAM 2016).
“Seklusyon,” produced by Reality Entertainment, grossed nearly P100 million at the box office. It also won Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Sound Design, Best Production Design and Best Original Theme Song at the Gabi ng Parangal.
