GMA shows and Kapuso stars were recognized for their outstanding work by the Philippine Movie Press Club's 31st Star Awards for Television at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater, ADMU, Cata Tibayan reported on Unang Balita on Monday.
Morning show Unang Hirit was named the Best Morning Show while Wish Ko Lang received the Best Public Service Program award and I-Witness the Best Documentary Show distinction.
GMA News and Public Affairs veterans Howie Severino, Jay Taruc, Sandra Aguinaldo, and Kara David were lauded as the Best Documentary Program Hosts and Vicky Morales the Best Public Service Program Host.
