Those who’ve watched the advance screening of the three-episode movie “Miracles Are Forever” are one in saying Yassi Pressman and Mark Neumann deserve to receive acting awards for their roles as Leonor and Jim in the episode “To Love And To Live.”
In another episode, “A Mother’s Misery,” Assunta de Rossi plays the role of a scorned wife who wants to kill her three young children. They say this is one of Assunta’s most riveting performances in her entire career.
The most heart-breaking and also the longest among the three episodes is “The Mamasapano SAF44 Untold Story.” In it, they say Richard Gutierrez gave a very heart-warming portrayal of the El Shaddai member who survived the carnage of brave young soldiers who fought hundreds of rebel Muslims to the last bullet.
Also in the “Mamasapano” episode are awarded actors John Arcilla and Sid Lucero, and CJ Caparas (son of Donna and Direk Carlo), Rap Fernandez (son of Lorna Tolentino and the late Rudy Fernandez), Gabriel de Leon (son of Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andolong), and Richard Gutierrez (son of Annabelle Rama and Eddie Gutierrez).
“Miracles Are Forever” will be shown in 2017.
