STEAMY “CURACHA” PASSED UNCUT BY MALACANANG

Manila, May 26, 1998 – Expect long lines of movie goers Wednesday, when “Curacha,” one of the sexiest, most controversial movies in recent times finally gets shown in movie theaters.

The Rosanna Roces steamy film about “toro at torera” (live sex performers) was approved for public showing by the Malacanang Appeals Committee without cuts, but with a rating of “R-18, for adults only.”

The movie was reviewed twice and given an “X rating” by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board, meaning it is unfit for public viewing. The censors wanted the graphic sex scenes and those showing Rosanna’s total frontal nudity cut. Regal Entertainment, producer of the film, elevated their case to the Malacanang appeals body.

“This is a victory for everyone in the local film industry who is committed to the cause of uplifting the quality of Philippine movies. I hope this establishes the shape of things to come as we prepare ourselves under a new administration about to take over Malacanang,” said Chito Rono, director of the movie.

“This gives us writers and also the directors hope that we can still make the movies we want to do and allow the audience to widen their experiences through these films,” was the reaction of the film’s scriptwriter Ricky Lee.

“Curacha” documents a night in the life of Corazon, a “torera” who performs in live sex acts for a living. It is the same night that the country is going through a military attempt to take over the government.

Lily Monteverde said the decision “is a victory for film producers whose only wish is for the movie industry to grow.”

“CURACHA” BOX OFFICE SUCCESS REVIVES INDUSTRY

Manila, May 29, 1998 – Everyone predicted that the controversial Rosanna Roces movie “Curacha” was going to be a financial success, but the long lines at movie theaters when it opened last Wednesday was beyond expectations.

“Curacha” continues to make a killing at the tills, despite the rains that would normally have affected cinema attendance.

The film reportedly grossed P11 million on opening day, a whopping figure that is expected to be topped this weekend, it being a payday weekend.

Another factor that’s considered a plus for record-breaking box office income this weekend is the fact that most students have returned to Metro Manila from their home provinces, in time for enrollment and the June opening of classes. Majority of them are expected to flood the malls this weekend, rain or no rain.

Mother Lily Monteverde’s outfit Regal Films produced “Curacha” and is now grinning from ear to ear, basking in her movie’s success both with the film critics and with the “masa” movie-goers.

Mother Lily says the box office success of “Curacha” proves that the local movie industry, which has been on a slump for more than a year, is well on its way to full recovery.

The presidency of Joseph Estrada could also augur well for the movie industry, according to Mother Lily and many others in the business.

The only cloud in this bright scenario is the statement of Rosanna Roces that “Curacha” is her last bold movie, that she will be opting for more dramatic, less baring roles.

The big question now is: “Without Rosanna, who else among the present crop of movie stars can attract as much attention, controversy and mass following?”

Morning Prayer: Morning has just begun, let us awaken to the challenge of a new day. God, show us the wonder of your great love. You, who saved by your right hand, those who seek refuge in You. Keep us in the shadow of your wings from the wicked who asail us. Grant us patience to overcome petty intrigues. Courage, to rise from our mistakes and strength to face the challenges as we search for the truth in our daily undertakings. Help us to be at peace, O Lord, with ourselves, the world and You. Amen.

After the station message on sign-on and after the evening prayer on sign-off, the national anthem music video is shown:
  • Male voice-over goes “Sa taong sanlibo siyam na raan siyam na pu’t walo, ipagdiriwang natin ang sandaan taong kalayaan, ngayon pa lang, sariwain na natin ang kahulugang ito sa mga titik ng ating Pambansang Awit.” In the video, you can see the “Philippine Centennial” logo designed by Edgardo Santiago and slogan “Kalayaan, Kayamanan ng Bayan” by Joachim Medroso. The rising sun shines its rays over a red and royal blue striped ribbon, twirled to form the figure 100. Underneath are the three stars which are also in the Philippine flag. The slogan aptly states the reason for the nationhood–that indeed, freedom is the true wealth of the nation. The gold “Philippine Centennial” is reversed to frame all elements.
    • (Voiced by Minnie Manahan): “Tayo po ay magsitayo, ilagay ang kanan kamay sa dibdib at awitin natin sabay-sabay ang Pambansang Awit” and the performed by the Philippine Madrigal Singers and the Integrated National Police Orchestra. The tempo is how it should be sung and played as it was originally composed in the March tradition. The main music of the national anthem begins as the ancient map of the Islas de las Filipinas, a golden sunrise at sea to match the Pearl of the Orient line in the Hymn, revolutionary soldiers in rayadillo uniform, General Gregorio del Pilar, the three martyred priests of Cavite or the Gomburza, revolutionary soldiers in a battle scene, a faded glimpse of Old Manila before the Revolution, the Noli Me Tangere cover and its author, Jose P. Rizal, the KKK Banner of Katipunan, it’s Supremo, Andres Bonifacio, General Aguinaldo who at Kawit proclaimed Philippine Independence, an old Filipino flag whose blazing sun is caricatured as a human face, Rizal, Marcelo del Pilar and Mariano Ponce who edited the newspaper “La Solidaridad”, the sewing of the First Philippine Flag in Hong Kong by Marcela Agoncillo, her daughter Lorenza and Josefina Herbosa de Natividad; the Malolos Congress, Rizal’s execution by firing squad at Bagumbayan, and as a finale, a huge Philippine Flag, blown by gentle breeze unfurls to hug the whole screen and at the end of the video it says “Sandaang taong kalayaan ipinagdiriwang ng Bank of the Philippine Islands, saksi sa ating kasayasayan” plus there is a Special Thanks to. (This was played earlier at the Ayala Land Stockholders’ Meeting.)
  • June 12, 1997-June 30, 1998 (for ABS-CBN, PTV, IBC, Studio 23, RJTV and CTV-31) Kung saang si dating Pangulong Fidel V. Ramos ang nasa opening part tapos 'yung title, “Ang Pambansang Awit ng Pilipinas.” ipinapalabas sa likod ng sunset with fade transition to waving Philippine Sun. 'Yung may linyang “Mga Kababayan, Ipagbunyi natin ang nakaraan, at isulong ang kinabukasan.” tapos may map of the Philippines sa moving earth with a lens flare representing the sun in the galaxy. last scene nagmarka yun sa mga Pilipino. yung eksena ng sundalong namatay na hawak ang watawat then may batang umiiyak sa tabi niya.

    • An Igorot playing the national anthem in bamboo flute when the flag was being folded. Meaning the red is on top, a representation of war by the soldiers. The three men walked and the flag was folded. After the drum roll, the male voice-over announcer says “Mga kababayan, awitin natin ang Lupang Hinirang, ang pambansang awit ng Pilipinas.” Sa umpisa ng kanta, nakapabilib kami. The tempo is how it should be sung and played as it was originally composed in the March tradition. When the song is played, people must stop walking, stand at attention and sing the anthem. The main music of the national anthem begins as the blending of the children’s voices to match the "Gentle People, Pearl of the Orient" line in the first note of the anthem in Tagalog a capella and led raising of the Philippine Flag by their two Boy Scouts of the Philippines members with the adult ones show that their patriotism as Filipinos lives on forever, showing the shots of Rizal Monument, the fishermen, the doctors, the employees, the construction workers, the farmers, the policemen, the firemen, the children, the sewing of the First Philippine Flag in Hong Kong by Marcela Agoncillo, her daughter Lorenza and Josefina Herbosa de Natividad, the family, the car factory workers, the carpenters, the port workers, the airline hangar workers, the shot of Bonifacio Monument. This video was also the first to show the Philippine American War-which was the accurate context for the words of the song--since Julian Felipe wrote the original poem--FILIPINAS- in Spanish on August 1899--while Filipino soldiers of independence where defending the new capital of the Philippines in Pampanga from the invading American army. That poem was selected by Emilio Aguinaldo to become the words of the song-which as become the symbol of our nationalism. Just two months prior to the words being written, the very first anniversary of June 12,1898 --which is Philippine Independence Day, was celebrated with a grand military parade in front of the Pamintuan Mansion in Pampanga. Thus, the first Republic of the Philippines was able to celebrate both the first anniversary of PH Independence Day as well as the very first Jose Rizal Day in 1898 and 1899.) It will also be a part of GMA’s sign-on and sign-off messages marking the beginning and end of each day’s broadcast. Renowned film and television director Mark Reyes pitched the historical concept to GMA. “This will hopefully show and remind the younger generation what our heroes went through in history for our freedom. Being part of the network that has played a role in the scheme of history, I am edified to push in an artistic way the Filipinos’ passion for this country,” Reyes said. The GMA project team is composed of cinematographer Ding Achacoso (director of photography), Paul Ticzon (director), Vince Gealogo (co-director), Ingrid Navarro (producer) and cameramen Hanniel Aguilar, Javier Delgado and Paul Arrojado. The whole campaign was spearheaded by the creative team of GMA’s Program Support Department composed of Regie Bautista (VP), Dong Tan (associate creative director), Alex Almario (copy specialist), Dennis Tiu (art director), Hasmin Marable (senior project manager), and Minette Lopez (project manager). This new theatrical version retells Philippine history through a succession of carefully-crafted and awe-inspiring reenactments of historical events from Lapu-Lapu’s victory over Magellan’s troops in the Battle of Mactan to the Filipinos’ peaceful revolt in pursuit of democracy in the 1986 People Power Revolution at EDSA. The new version, which was conceived from the strengthened corporate partnership between GMA Network and SM Cinemas, advances the narration of Philippine history from the standard versions released before. The roster of Kapuso stars who played Philippine historical icons include (in alphabetical order): Aljur Abrenica, Marvin Agustin, Victor Aliwalas, Alvin Aragon, Bea Binene, Iza Calzado, Bodie Cruz, Dingdong Dantes, Gabby and Geoff Eigenmann, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Carlo Gonzalez, Carl Guevarra, Richard Gutierrez, Dion Ignacio, Paolo Paraiso, Enzo Pineda, Rhian Ramos, Marian Rivera, Arthur Solinap, Mike Tan, JC Tiuseco, Dennis Trillo and TJ Trinidad. They are joined by Ogie Alcasid, Heart Evangelista, Eddie Garcia, Jaya Ramsey, Zoren Legaspi, German “Kuya Germs” Moreno, Regine Velasquez, Carmina Villaroel, Jillian Ward; plus News and Public Affairs’ pillars composed of Arnold Clavio, Mike Enriquez, Vicky Morales, Howie Severino, Jessica Soho, and Mel Tiangco.

  • April 9, 2013-present (aired on GMA-7 and GMA News TV-11): The 2013 version pays tribute to the heroes of today by drawing inspiration from the heroes of yesteryear's. It opens with an artist sketching a portrait of Lapu-Lapu, which seamlessly transforms into a colorful animation of the events that shaped Philippine history from the Battle of Mactan, which saw the defeat of the Spanish conquistadors in the hands of the natives, to the Cry of Pugad Lawin and the one portrayed by a firefighter who braves the raging flames of a burning building in order to save an infant. Magpa-hanggang ngayon. Mga kababayan, ang Pambansang Awit ng Pilipinas." The main music of the national anthem begins as the heroes of the past are juxtaposed with modern heroes like a teacher who walks several miles to school daily to educate her pupils, a farmer who dutifully toils the land under the scorching heat of the sun to fend for his family, a traffic enforcer who continues to do his job despite being soaked in heavy rains, a doctor who compassionately attends to the medical needs of those in the barrios, overseas workers who endure being away from their loved ones in the hope of giving them a better future, an athlete who brings pride to his country, and the martyrdom of our national hero, Jose Rizal at the end, GMA Network Center Facade and SM Mall of Asia Facade at the end of GMA National Anthem 2013. While at the end is the Kapuso Tune and the GMA Network Logo.

He broke your heart and said goodbye
    After promising forever
You wonder why you even tried
he was such a good pretender
The love you gave was all in vain
    And nothing anyone can say
Could ever make you love that way again

It's the lover not the love
Who broke your heart last night
It's the lover not the dream
    That didn't work out right
If you listen to your heart
    Ooh you'll know it's true
It's the lover not the love
    Who deserted you

Don't stop reaching for the stars
    Let tomorrow live inside you
And just remember who you are
Keep the faith and love will find you
A heart in love can lose it's true
but don't give up in time to find
the one who's right will come to you

It's the lover not the love
who broke your heart last night
It's the lover not the dream
    that didn't work out right
if you listen to your heart
    ooh you'll know it's true
It's the lover not the love
    who deserted you
It does no good to second guess
whether love is wrong or right
If it was really meant to be
he'd be with you tonight, tonight, oh yeah...
It's the lover not the love
Who broke your heart last night
It's the lover not the dream
    That didn't work out right
if you listen to your heart
    Ooh you'll know it's true
It's the lover not the love
    Who deserted you
    Oohh....

I realize you're seeing someone new
But I don't believe she knows you like I do
    Your temperamental moody side
The one you always try to hide from me
But I know when you've got something on your mind
You've been trying to tell me for the longest time
But before you break my heart in two
There's something I've been trying to say to you
But the words get in the way
There's so much I want to say
But it's locked deep inside and if you look in my eyes
We might fall in love again
I won't even start to cry
    Before we say goodbye
I'm trying to say I love you
But the words get in the way
Your heart has always been an open door
But baby I don't even know you anymore
And despite the fact it's hurting me
    I know…

    “Tears in Heaven”
    • Songwriters: Eric Clapton and Will Jennings
    • Album: Rush: Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack
    Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
    Would it be the same
If I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on
'Cause I know I don't belong here in heaven
    Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven?
    Would you help me stand
If I saw you in heaven?
I'll find my way through night and day
'Cause I know I just can't stay here in heaven
Time can bring you down, time can bend your knees
Time can break your heart, have you begging please, begging please
Beyond the door there's peace I'm sure
And I know there'll be no more tears in heaven
    Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
    Would it be the same
If I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on
'Cause I know I don't belong here in heaven

    • Track 6 of the cassette album: “Tell the World of His Love - World Youth Day”, by Praise, Inc. (1994)

ABOUT THE SONG: In January 1995, Pope John Paul II came to Manila for World Youth Day 1995.  The theme for that year was "As the Father sent me, so am I sending you." TELL THE WORLD OF HIS LOVE was written with this theme in mind and was selected out of 85 songs to be the Official Theme Song for that event, which brought together millions of people in what was one of the world's biggest gatherings. The song continues to be sung in churches and during World Youth Day held in various countries.

For God so loved the world

He gave us his only Son

    Jesus Christ our Savior

    His most precious one

He has sent us His message of love
    And sends those who hear
to bring the message to everyone

In a voice loud and clear.

Let us tell the world of His love

The greatest love the world has known

Search the world for those who have walked

    Astray and lead them home

    Fill the world's darkest corners

With His light from up above

Walk every step, every mile, every road

    And tell the world

    (…Tell the world),

Tell the world of His love.

    (Interlude)

For God so loved the world

He gave us his only Son

Jesus Christ our Savior His Most Precious One
He has sent us His message of love

    and sends those who hear

Andrei Jose, Wilson Santos, and Ritchie Ilustre:

To bring the message to everyone

In a voice loud and clear.

Let us tell the world of His love
The greatest love the world has known
Search the world for those who have walked

    Astray and lead them home

    (Ahh… ahh…)
    Fill the world's darkest corners
With His light from up above
Walk every step, every mile, every road

    And tell the world

    (…Tell the world),

Tell the world of His love!

    (Interlude)
Let us tell the world of His love

(Tell the world of His love)

The greatest love the world has known

Search the world for those who have walked

    Astray and lead them home

    (…lead them home)

    Fill the world's darkest corners

With His light from up above

Walk every step, every mile, every road

    And tell the world;

    (…tell the world)

Tell the world of His love.

Let us tell the world of His love

The greatest love the world has known
Walk every step, every mile, every road

    And tell the world,

(…Tell the world of His love)

    Tell the world…

(…Tell the world of His love)

Tell the world of… His love!

Words and music by Manuel Francisco, SJ
From "The Best of Bukas Palad Vol. 2"
Featuring the Ballet and Folk Dance Majors of the Philippine High School for the Arts and Ms. Katherine Sanchez
I will sing forever of Your love, O Lord
I will celebrate the wonder of Your name
For the word that You speak is a song of forgiveness
And a song of gentle mercy and of peace
Let us wake at the morning and be filled with Your love
And sing songs of praise all our days
For Your love is as high as the heavens above us
And Your faithfulness as certain as the dawn
I will sing forever of Your love, O Lord
I will celebrate the wonder of Your name
For the word that You speak is a song of forgiveness
And a song of gentle mercy and of peace
I will sing forever of Your love, O Lord
For You are my refuge and my strength
You fill the world with Your life-giving spirit
    That speaks Your word
Your word of mercy and of peace
    CODA:
And I will sing forever of Your love, O Lord
Yes I will sing forever of Your love, O Lord

    "Believe"
    Lyrics by Edwin Ortega
    Music by Norman Agatep
    Instrumental Arrangement by Mark Lopez
    Choral Arrangement by Moy Ortiz
    Performed by The Company
From the Album: Kapayapaan: Songs of Faith and Inspiration

Why do you keep the peace when the world’s at war?
Why can’t the anger cease in my wounded heart?
When will we ever find the answers? Why can’t I get anywhere?
So many questions, why should I even care?

    REFRAIN
Do you believe in heaven? Do you believe in paradise?
Where can we run when there’s no one, no one we can run home to?
If you can’t find the reason why we must go on living,
search your soul then you’ll know that we’ll just have, we’ll just have to believe.

Why can’t you face your fears? What is there to hide?
Why can’t I face the truth? Maybe too much pride?
Just when we thought we’ve found the cure, it hurts just to know we’re not sure.
Why is there sorrow? How can we still endure?

Do you believe in heaven? Do you believe in paradise?
Where can we run when there’s no one, no one we can run home to?
If you can’t find the reason why we must go on living,
search your soul then you’ll know that we’ll just have, we’ll just have to believe.

    BRIDGE
Life doesn’t have to be this way.
We’ll make it better for us someday.
Love’s all we need and the heart to believe.
So look into the sky, believe, and then you’ll never ask why.

Do you believe in heaven? Do you believe in paradise?
Where can we run when there’s no one, no one we can run home to?
If you can’t find the reason why we must go on living,
search your soul then you’ll know that we’ll just have

I’m asking you do you believe, do you believe in heaven?
    I’m asking the paradise
    We just have to believe.

    ANG BUHAY NGA NAMAN
    Artist: Noel Cabangon
    Album: Byahe
A Noel Cabangon original... Happy-sad song... my 3rd fave from the album.

This is also the theme of indie film "Dead Na Si Lolo".

    LYRICS:

    At ika'y pag-uusapan at pagtatawanan

    At ika'y pag-uusapan at pagtatawanan

    Paikot-ikot at sadyang mapag-laro

    At ika'y pag-uusapan at pagtatawanan
    Ngunit mangungulila sa iyong paglisan

    Ngunit mangungulila sa iyong paglisan...

    SALAMIN NG LANGIT
    Lyrics by Christine Daria-Estabillo
    Music by Frederic Ferraz

    I
    May buhay pa bang dumadaloy
    Sa isang tahimik na panaghoy
    Tila di malayo ang wakas
    Sa nasira mo nang lagaslas.

    II
    Ang ganda mo'y nadungisan
    Tuluyan nang napabayaan
    Sa putik ay di makaahon
    Lubog na at di makabangon

    REFRAIN:
    Hindi pa huli ang lahat
    May pagbabagong matutupad
    Iabot ang iyong kamay
    Sa agos ng buhay
    Tayo'y sumabay.

    CHORUS
    Ito ang aking pangarap
    Madamang muli ang iyong yakap
Sa ilalim ng ulap ay aking masilip
    Ikaw na salamin ng langit

    III
    Buhayin natin ang pag-ibig
    Sa makulay na tubig
    Tayo'y magkapit-bisig
    Para sa Ilog Pasig

    IV
    Nais kong muling lumangoy
    sa malinis na daloy
    Muli sanang magtampisaw
    sa agos na malinaw

    I can see it now
    Crystal clear as day
    My people will rise again
    Someday soon, somehow,
    Somewhere down the way

    My people will rise again...
My people, we will rise again
We will learn to spread our wings and fly again
Like an eagle to the distant dawn...
    We will rise again.

    No more hollow words
    No more shallow lies
For tomorrow, we will rise again
    No more shattered hopes
    No more tattered lives
This time tomorrow, we will rise again...

My people, we will rise again
We will learn to spread our wings and fly again
Like an eagle to the distant dawn
From out the shackles of the past
We'll be flying free at last
    And rising with the morn
We will stand and we will rise again.

And nothing or no one can take my dream from me
    I won't let them, I won't let them, no, I won't
For tomorrow, we will rise again...

My people, we will rise again
We will learn to spread our wings and fly again
Like an eagle to the distant dawn...
From out the shackles of the past
We'll be flying free at last
    And rising with the morn
We will stand and we will rise again...
My people, we will rise again.

    Kuya Pedro

Written and Sang by Jamie Rivera
Music composed and Arranged by Noel Espenida
    Kuya Pedro kami’y turuan mo
May Pagibig sa kapwa san man mapunta
    repeat refrain 2x
    Coda
    Kuya Pedro kami’y turuan mo.
    Kuya Pedro kami’y tulungan mo.

    "We are all god's children"
Official Theme Song for the 2015 Apostolic Visit of Pope Francis to the Philippines

Lyrics written and sung by Jamie Rivera with The Hail Mary the Queen Children's Choir.
Music composed and arranged by Noel Espenida
    Directed by Eric Teotico
Produced by Starmusic and Ligaya ng Panginoon
    Published by Star Songs, Inc.

Do you see these children on the streets
Have you walked the pavements where they sleep?
    Do you feel their hands
    When you give them alms?
Did you ever give them bread to eat?

Have you seen their homes washed by the floods?
While a mother tightly holds her child
    Do you hear the wind
    Of the raging storm?
Can you tell them where it's coming from?

Let us show our love and mercy
    With true kindness and humility
For God loves the weak and the needy
    Just like you and me

    We are all God's children
    We are all the same
He is calling us by name to help the poor and lame
And learn what life is really for
It's to know and love and serve the Lord

Stand together and let's do our part
Hear their voices mend their broken hearts
Choose to be brave fight for their rights
Give them back their honor and their pride

Please do not be blind and just leave them behind
To struggle in darkness or give them empty promises

    We are all God's children
    We are all the same
He is calling us by name to help the poor and lame
And learn what life is really for
It's to know and love and serve the Lord

It's to know and love and serve the Lord
It's to know and love and serve the Lord!

    Gulat ako nang makilala kita
    Natulala sa tinatagong ganda
Bakit ‘di man lang kita napansin (‘di man lang kita napansin)
    Siguro malabo lang paningin
    Oh bakit nga ba

Dati-rati walang kulay ang mundo (kulay ang mundo)
Tumingkad ang lahat ng dahil sa’yo
Saang sulok ka nga ba nanggaling
    Ang puso’y sabik sa’yong pagdating

    Chorus:
    Kapag ika’y kasama
    ‘Di ko mapigilang tumawa
    Ako’y tuwang-tuwa
Kahit na magmukha pa akong ewan
    Ay okay lang
    Kay linaw nang paligid
    ‘Pag ikaw na ang kaharap
    Walang gustong makita kundi ikaw

    Chorus:
    Kapag ika’y kasama
    ‘Di ko mapigilang tumawa
    Ako’y tuwang-tuwa
Kahit na magmukha pa akong ewan
    Ay okay lang
    Kay linaw nang paligid
    ‘Pag ikaw na ang kaharap
    Walang gustong makita kundi ikaw

    Bridge:

    Labo-labo, ba’t ‘di ko pa masabe (labo-labo)
    Labo-labo, ba’t ‘di ko pa masabe (labo-labo)
    Labo-labo, paano sasabihin sa’yo

    At kung ikaw ay nakatawa
    Ako pa ba ay nakikita
    Nalilimutan ko ang itsura ko
    Kapag kausap na ikaw
    Sana naman ako’y pakinggan
    At nang ikaw ay malinawan
Dahil nabihag mo ang aking paningin
    At damdamin

    Chorus:
    Kapag ika’y kasama
    ‘Di ko mapigilang tumawa
    Ako’y tuwang-tuwa
Kahit na magmukha pa akong ewan
    Ay okay lang

Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh

    Nahihirapan parang paligsahan
    Sa pagpapagwapohan
    Paramihan ng yabang
    Daming pomoporma, Daming nakapila
    Kanya-kanyang sikap
    Pagandahan ng linya
    Kahit alam na nila
    Na ika'y aking sinta
    Di tumitigil mga nanghaharana
    Medyo takot lang ako na
    Mawalay sa'yo
    At ang tingin mo'y malipat
    Sa iba.

    Chorus:
    Diba't tayo na?
Ayoko kong mag-selos selos selos oohhhh
    'Kong pinili mo
Ayoko kong mag-selos selos, seloso ba ako?

    Oh Oh Oh Ohh Ohhhh

    Nahihirapan pag nagkwe kwentohan
    Tunkol sa 'ting nakaraan
    Di ko mapigilan
    Makipag tapatan kung ako'y
    May laban sa kanila
    Siguro'y pangkaraniwan ang
    Nadarama ko, dahil ika'y aking
    Gustong-gusto Ohhh
    Ganda mo'y kakaiba, takot
    Mawalay sayo
    Takot malipat tingin
