GMA Network announced recently its roster of programs this 2017. Produced by the GMA Drama Group, these are top billed by both the hottest and up-and-coming Kapuso actors.
Aside from the now airing romantic-comedy soap “Meant To Be” top billed by Barbie Forteza, the other shows are: “Destined To Be Yours,” a Valentine offering starring Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza; the Pinoy remake of the hit Koreanovela “My Love From The Star,” starring Jennylyn Mercado; and “Mulawin Vs. Ravena,” which is GMA’s biggest production this 2017 starring Dennis Trillo and with special participation of Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.
Two other GMA shows up ahead are: “Legally Blind” with Kapuso actress Janine Gutierrez, who will be tackling her most challenging and mature role as a rape victim who becomes a lawyer to seek justice from her tormentors; and the remake of the successful TV series “Impostora,” which is the first GMA-produced TV drama adapted by a foreign country and starring Kris Bernal.
“Cased Solved” is another original show soon to air on the network. Hosted by Dingdong Dantes, the docu-drama delves into crime prevention.
“Full House Tonight,” a weekly comedy-musical show, premieres on Feb. 18.
For premiere within the year: “I Heart Davao,” “D’Originals,” “Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko,” “Project Achieved,” “Lip Sync Battle Philippines Season 3” and “Text Serye.”
