LRT Line 1 North Extension - Common Station

New Configuration (as approved during the Duterte Administration)
The proposed new configuration includes a total concourse area of 13,700 square meters connecting the LRT Line 1 North Extension, MRT 3, and MRT 7 on the corner of North Avenue and EDSA, with total cost of PhP2,800 million.
Original Project (as approved during the Aquino III Administration)
The project aims to provide a common station for easy passenger transfer between and among LRT 1, MRT 3, MRT 7 and road-based transportation systems, with total project cost of PhP1,399.65 million, for Local Financing.

The NEDA Board in its June 27, 2017 meeting, noted its earlier confirmation ad referendum of the ICC approval of following: Proposed new configuration of project includes a total concourse area of 13,700 square meters connecting the LRT Line 1 North Extension, MRT 3, and MRT 7 on the corner of North Avenue and EDSA; Total project cost of PhP2.8 billion, to be funded through the GAA for 2017- 2019, which includes the PhP1.4 billion under the DOTr’s budget in the 2017 GAA, PhP1.2 billion for fiscal years 2018 and 2019, and PhP200 million under the Light Rail Transit Authority
In its May 16, 2017 letter, DOTr provided NEDA copy of the MOA signed by relevant parties on January 18, 2017.
Project changes confirmed ad referendum by the NEDA Board on May 30, 2017.
