World-class performers in ‘Powerhouse’ concert By: Crispina Martinez-Belen Published October 27, 2016, 12:05 AM

Expected to be a super successful concert is “Powerhouse,” slated tomorrow at The Theater of Solaire Resort & Casino. Performing are world-class Pinoy artists led by Arnel Pineda, originally vocalist of Ijos and Amo Band and now front man of the famed American group Journey.

Also performing is Michael Pangilinan, dubbed “Ang Bagong Kilabot Ng Mga Kolehiyala,” who won the hearts of many when he landed second place on ABS-CBN’s “Your Face Sounds Familiar” season 2. Prior, Michael interpreted twice (in 2014 and 2016) his song “Pare, Mahal Mo Daw Ako?” for ABS-CBN’s “Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs.” In 2014, the song garnered more than eight million views on YouTube. Michael recently released his second album under Star Magic with “Hanggang Kailan” as its carrier single.

The other performers are: Morissette Amon, touted the “Next Big Diva,” who was finalist in the first season of ABS-CBN’s “The Voice,” going on to make her theater debut in Repertory Philippines’ “Camp Rock;” and 4th Impact, composed of sisters Mylene, Irene, Almira and Celina, who wowed the judges of “X Factor UK” led by Simon Cowell.

Curtain-raisers for “Powerhouse” are Mayumi and the T.O.M.S. Band.

“Powerhouse” is produced by Lucky 7 Koi Productions who call themselves loyal friends of Solaire Resort & Casino.
