Alden Richards was welcomed recently to the Cookie’s Peanut Butter family as their brand ambassador.

At the launch, the actor expressed fondness for the product made of all-natural ingredients. It is made in Biñan, Laguna, hometown of the man who developed its delicious recipe, Cookie Yatco.

Aside from “Eat Bulaga!,” Alden is preparing for a primetime TV series. To stay in shape, Alden works out regularly and he also does intermittent fasting.

As part of Cookie’s Peanut Butter on-going series of mall tours, Alden will be at Megamall Event Center in SM Megamall on April 22.

SUMMER TVC. It went trending at once, Gabbi Garcia and Ruru Madrid’s new TV commercial for McDonald’s where they are seen beating the intense summer heat. Netizens found the whole thing refreshing and perfect. Ruru is seen on ‘Sherlock Jr.,’ airs weeknights after ‘24 Oras’ on GMA Telebabad.

Gabbi Garcia’s character Lily on “Sherlock Jr.” was killed by Dindo (Matt Evans). But the teen star took it as a chance to thank the cast and the supporters of the series.

She said “I would like to thank the #SherlockJr team! Thank you for treating me like family… one of the best cast & productions I’ve ever worked with! Thanks for keeping things light and full of love! I’ll definitely miss taping. Thank you also to everyone who supports the show! To my gabbifieds and gabru’s, love you guys!!”

The director, Rechie del Carmen, said the last taping day for Gabbi was tough and “when I got up from my seat I suddenly felt this urge to hug you tight and you hugged me back.. no words said but we completely understood what that hug meant… i love u @_gabbigarcia!”

“Sherlock Jr.” airs weeknights after “24 Oras” on GMA Telebabad.
