A thanksgiving show

The stars of the GMA primetime show “Meant To Be” drew a big crowd last Sunday (April 9) at Market! Market! in Taguig City. It was a thanksgiving mall show that tuned out to be a concert of sort as the cast of the series performed a song or two each to the delight of the wildly-cheering and enthusiastic audience.

Tina Paner has not lost touch with entertaining the fans as she sang a few songs interspersed with quips that drew enthusiastic reactions from the audience, the same reaction that Manilyn Reynes drew when she did her act: Several songs with sexy body movements. Tina and Manilyn play sisters on “Meant To Be,” aired after “Destined To Be Yours” on GMA Telebabad.

Keempee de Leon, who plays Manilyn’s husband in the series directed by L.A. Madridejos (he was in crowd they said but preferred to be incognito), also sang a song and so did Sef Cadayona who plays Billie’s (Barbie Forteza) brother, and Barbie’s four leading men: Addy Raj, Ivan Dorschner, Ken Chan, and Jak Roberto.

The young and talented stars (including the pretty Mika dela Cruz) immediately elicited wild cheers as soon as they appeared onstage, proof of their show’s popularity among televiewers. The audience became even more wild and excited when a fashionably dressed Barbie came out on stage, sang a song and thank their fans and supporters and Market! Market! for a very successful mall show.

Tweetie de Leon, healthy and beautiful at 50

Many women try to hide their true age. But not supermodel Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez who turned 50 recently. She was not worried about hiding her age. In fact, she considers it a milestone in her life.

Tweetie has always made health her priority. For her, the key to happiness is having a balance in nutrition, exercise, work, self, rest, and others.

As the celebrity endorser of Organique Acai Berry, Tweetie credits the health supplement as one of the milestones in five decades of happily living her life and still looking healthy and beautiful.

“We are never without stress in this world, but I am teaching myself to let go of situations I have no control over,” Tweetie said. “Anxiety arrests health and happiness and nothing is worth risking your sanity and well-being. Just pray and lift your worries to heaven. Everything will sort itself out.”

Active, healthy and beautiful at 50, Tweetie is the perfect person to endorse Organique Acai Berry as she represents the brand’s values, according to Cathy Salimbangon, vice president of Organique Inc.

“An active lifestyle is just as important as nutrition in achieving good health well-being,” said Tweetie, who attributes her youthful looks and healthy glow into staying active.

Organique Acai Berry was introduced in the Philippines eight years ago by Cebu-based couple, Cathy and Elton Salimbangon, who has built a brand that brings wellness, health and beauty. To date, Organique Acai Berry is the first and only health supplement that’s proudly Filipino-made and was granted certification by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).
