Wish 107.5 is set to celebrate Filipino musicality through the second Wish 107.5 Music Awards (WMA) on Jan. 16 at the SMART-Araneta Coliseum.
Year 2016 saw the phenomenal rise of Wish 107.5’s digital platforms. Its YouTube channel, now with over 240 million views and 650,000 subscribers as of this writing, is recognized internationally for its wide array of WISHclusive performances that highlights the mettle of various OPM artists.
The official list of nominees may be viewed on www.wish1075.com/wishawards, and Wish 107.5’s social media accounts.
Highest citations will be given to the first members of the WISHclusive Elite Circle. Another special social media recognition is the WISHclusive Viral Video of the Year.
Online votes will comprise 50 percent of a nominee’s total score, while the other 50 percent will come from the votes of a select panel of judges.

Fun-filled Sundays
The show “People Vs. The Stars” promises viewers fun-filled Sunday afternoons beginning on Jan. 15. The one-of-a-kind game show is hosted by couple-hosts Drew Arellano and Iya Villania.
The program allows celebrities a chance to win P200, 000 answering eight questions. If the stars fail to answer any of the questions correctly, televiewers then have the chance to “steal” the money by answering the “People Question of the Week” through Facebook and text.
First-time mom Iya considers the show a time-out of sorts from mommy duties.
“This is the first time I will be hosting a show na makulit and entertaining. It doesn’t feel like work. So, natutuwa ako, parang it allows me to rest a bit from my obligations as mom kay Primo. Ang maganda rito, kasama ko pa asawa ko, so fun talaga,” she said.
Drew is equally excited working with her wife on the show.
“Kasi iba itong show na ito, very enjoyable and light. Hindi siya ’yung may acting like sa mga shows namin 10 years ago. Dito mas makikita nila kung sino kami talaga inside our house, ganun lang talaga,” he said.
“People Vs. The Stars” airs Sundays at 5 p.m. beginning tomorrow, Jan.15 on GMA-7.
