Multiply to remain close for a little longer?





Multiply might need to wait a little longer before it can see the light for social networking portion.


The glint of hope for reviving the website and reopening the social networking portion suddenly went bleak after former CEO and owner Stefan Magdalinski broke the bad news.

Filipinos and foreigners hopes to reviving the website and to reopen it's social networking portion, when Magdalinski said that any efforts of reviving the website and its social networking portion would have to wait for the next administration.

“Calls to revive Multiply and its social networking portion including blogs, photos and videos will have to wait until the next administration.”


He added, “With a little over a year until the 2022 elections, the world is bent on focusing the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte fulfills his campaign promise to the Filipino people.”


Multiply.com has been shutdown since May 31, 2013.



It would keep Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter and Tumblr are the social networking sites.


To recall, Multiply has covered several events ranging from national and local cultural, entertainment, fashion, lifestyle, sports from March 2004 to March 15, 2013 compiled by Multiply social networking users.


Under the new presidential administration, Multiply.com will make a return: to construct a new permanent Philippine headquarters building in Clark, Pampanga with a data center, hiring former employees and retaining the 2013 Multiply logo.
