Traffic Re-Routing Plan for October 24, 2014 "Papal Visit 2014 and 36th Anniversary Celebration of Jesus is Lord Church Worldwide"

Between 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., President Quirino Avenue and A. Lacson from Taft Avenue to Dapitan will be closed to vehicular traffic. Motorists are advised to take the following alternative routes:

  1. Vehicles along Taft Avenue going to Roxas Boulevard are advised to take either San Andres and Vito Cruz Streets.
  2. From 7:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M., northbound vehicles along President Quirino Avenue going to A. Lacson (Governor Forbes) are advised to take San Andres Street or Vito Cruz Street, then northwards at Taft Avenue and take Rizal Avenue or Quezon Boulevard to their areas of destination.
  3. Southbound vehicles using the A. Lacson (Governor Forbes) - President Quirino Avenue towards the Taft Avenue way, are advised to take the Quezon Boulevard - Taft Avenue Route.

Also on the same day from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Espana fronting UST from P. Noval to A. Lacson will be closed to Public Utility VehiclesOnly Northbound PUJ's and PUB's are advised to take P. Paredes Street towards Sergio Loyola. Southbound PUJ's and PUB's will be re-routed to Don Castillas, Don Quijote and Maria Cristina Streets enroute to the Laong-Laan-Andalucia-Quezon Boulevard route.
