A boon for Kris 0 SHARES Share it! By: Crispina Martinez-Belen Published March 21, 2017, 12:05 AM

“Trip Ni Kris,” one of the most-anticipated TV projects of Kris Aquino, was the result of a chance meeting between her and long-time friend Rhodora Pascual Morales.

Rhodora, or more popularly known as “Tita Doray,” shared it was over lunch at the Shangri-La where she bumped into Kris. Upon learning that Kris didn’t have a special show prepared for her birthday, Tita Doray offered to produce it for her.

Aside from having the Queen of All Media as her TV host, Tita Doray is excited to showcase the many destinations of Nueva Ecija on the show.

Dahil doon ako pinanganak sa Nueva Ecija,” said the producer. “Mga anak ko doon lumaki, ang daming magandang lugar doon. Of course, humingi ako ng tulong sa provincial head of tourism. Namili na lang kami kasi sobrang daming magagandang lugar doon na hindi ko pa pala napuntahan.”

She is confident that after watching “Trip Ni Kris,” viewers would visit her hometown.

Tita Doray described Kris as “masipag” and a “value for money” TV host. Mum on Kris’s talent fee, Tita Doray simply said it’s “reasonable.”

Produced by D’ Ultimate Talent and Entertainment Corp., “Trip Ni Kris” airs on April 9 after “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho.”
