Manila See marks 420th year.

Manila, Philippines, August 20, 2014 - A con-celebrated mass to be led by visiting Pope Francis the First will mark the 420th Year of the Creation of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila on October 25, 2014. The mass will be held at the sprawling 10-hectare lot located at the back of the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) within the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex along Roxas Boulevard, starting at 8:00 A.M. Some one million people coming from all over the Philippines, Jesus is Lord Church Worldwide members and other foreign nationals are expected to attend the first of two public Masses, Pope Francis will officiate during his five-day pastoral visit to the Philippines.
The second public mass for the grand annual anniversary celebration and prayer assembly of Jesus is Lord Church Worldwide and birthday celebration of ZOE Broadcasting Network, Inc. Board Chairman and Jesus is Lord Church Worldwide founder, president and spiritual director Bishop Bro. Eddie C. Villanueva at 6:00 p.m., October 26 at the Luneta Park in front of the Quirino Grandstand.
In the crowd will be some 4,000 religious including members of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines, Federation of Asian Bishops' Conferences and Roman Catholic archbishops, bishops, monsignors, pastors, deacons from foreign countries, priests, diocesan and religious.
Government officials and their families, led by President Benigno S. Aquino III are expected to hear the Mass. The Holy Father will arrive at the site 15 minutes before the start of the Mass and will bless the crowd on his way to the Altar.
The Prayer of the Faithful will be read in English. Only 70 chosen faithful will receive holy communion personally from the Pope.
